Crystal's Story...
Crystal is an energetic but very sweet girl who just came to us from an upstate animal shelter. We think she is about 2 years old and loves to be the center of attention. In fact, she can be quite needy and vocal when she is lonely so she would be happiest in a home where she can be around people as much as possible. Crystal is also very dog social and has gotten along with many other dogs but her ideal companions are larger dogs that she can really play with. Her prey drive comes out around cats so no kitties or really small doggies please. With that striking white coat comes a big responsibility on behalf of her new owners though and one you need to be prepared for. White Dobies cannot be outdoors for extended periods of time because of the sensitivity of their skin and eyes. White Dobies need eye protection when outside like Doggles and maybe even doggie visors. They are also very prone to skin cancer and will need small melanomas removed as they age so that cancer doesn’t take over their whole body. Crystal is a whole lot of fun and would be an amazing addition to the right home and the right family. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Crystal, a Fillmore Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Fillmore, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Fillmore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fillmore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fillmore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fillmore paves the way for another one to be saved.
