Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Crystal is an energetic but very sweet girl who just came to us from an upstate animal shelter. We think she is about 2 years old and loves to be the center of attention. In fact, she can be quite needy and vocal when she is lonely so she would be happiest in a home where she can be around people as much as possible. Crystal is also very dog social and has gotten along with many other dogs but her ideal companions are larger dogs that she can really play with. Her prey drive comes out around cats so no kitties or really small doggies please. With that striking white coat comes a big responsibility on behalf of her new owners though and one you need to be prepared for. White Dobies cannot be outdoors for extended periods of time because of the sensitivity of their skin and eyes. White Dobies need eye protection when outside like Doggles and maybe even doggie visors. They are also very prone to skin cancer and will need small melanomas removed as they age so that cancer doesn’t take over their whole body. Crystal is a whole lot of fun and would be an amazing addition to the right home and the right family.
