Here's what the humans have to say about me:
SHOOTER is a 7 year old neutered chocolate male Lab who weighs 59 pounds. He is a mellow guy who enjoys the quieter side of life. Content to relax on a deck or on the couch between walks or playtimes, he is friendly and loves to meet new people. Shooter prefers all the attention for himself and would therefore be best as an only dog, although he seems to tolerate the company of dog-savvy cats. His good house manners and friendly, calm demeanor make him an ideal housemate. A large, fenced yard in a quiet suburban or rural setting would be a perfect home for this handsome guy, who asks for little more than some peace and quiet and who has so much to offer in return. Shooter is approved for kids ages 10+.
Update: All Shooter wants is a forever home. He is our longest resident and has been passed over many times. He doesn't ask for much: a fenced yard in a quiet neighborhood, a home where he can relax on the couch and be the only resident dog. In exchange, he will relax with you on the couch, and accompany you on walks. Can we help him find that?
