EXPERIENCED FAMILY FOR THIS BREED IS A MUST...........
Meet Henessee, a graceful and entertaining Shiba Inu who wants to share her life with a family. If you do your research on the breed and are lucky enough to be chosen, Henessee will steal your heart and you will be completely hooked! The reason Henessee finds herself at Animatch is not because she was abandoned or her family simply didn’t care; sadly, they loved her very much but could no longer afford the veterinary care to treat her persistent skin allergies. Veterinary care is costly; there is no getting away from. In addition to yearly vet visits, vaccinations, etc., there are the unforeseen problems. At this point and after much testing, it is felt that food may be the culprit and possibly some seasonal allergies thrown in. Henesse will be on special food for the remainder of her life. She is now on medication and enjoying her medicated baths. Henesse was so uncomfortable when she arrived that it was difficult to assess her true personality. Now that she is feeling better and itching less, her funny, playful character is shining through. Animatch would like to find an experienced family who is familiar with the breed. In general, Shibas are prey driven and escape artists in search of adventure. Therefore, a fenced yard to keep her safe is required. She is a go-getter who will need daily exercise and lots of walks. Obedience training would be recommended to If you are interested in adopting Henessee and can provide her with the home and care she needs, please fill in the Adoption Form.
