Meet the special and sweetest black Lab-Beagle mix, Romey! This amazing cutie is only 11 months old but already the best baby boy. Affectionate and very energetic Romey was rescued from Dalton County in high-kill northwest Georgia. Romey was found by our veterinarian who happily loaded him in his car and kept him at his office until we put him in foster care. Lucky and happy Romey can’t wait to get out of the south when he flies to Seattle next week. Romey is a playful and social 35lb boy. He loves to fetch and loves the water too! He would be super happy to be in a home with another dog and can’t wait for an active energetic family! Romey has a beautiful black coat and is small and sleek. He is very active and might even be good at agility! Romey is quiet (he rarely barks) and loves to ride in the car. He is full grown and knows his basic commands. Romey wants a loving adopter is ready to continue his training and make him part of their loving lives! Romey is smart and a real pleaser, and already is good on a leash and loves his daily walks. He is an absolutely amazing dog and is such an absolute sweetheart! Romey is still a bit shy in new situations but gets over it quickly. He is a quick learner, very smart, very affectionate and loves to accompany you anywhere. Romey is not with children in foster care but we will be kid and cat testing in the few next days. He is so young and listens well that we think he will be fine with kids. Romey gets along great with other dogs and seems to be fine with cats. He is crate trained and house trained and loves attention! Romey will be a great outdoor adventure partner and Romey can’t wait to meet the beach and the mountains. Romey will be arriving in Washington Wednesday evening, Sept 28th on an Alaska Airlines flight. He will be hoping to meet you at SeaTac and go home that day! Romey is neutered and vaccinated and micro-chipped. His adoption fee is $500.
