Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Shelly has watched her family all get adopted and now it is her time.
Shelly is looking for a furever home. She is being pampered and loved for now by her great fosters Tim and Patience but all our foster dogs are continually in need of that permanent home to love and care for them.
She is about 13 lbs. 3yrs old. She is fully vetted and ready to head home. She plays well with other dogs her size once she warms up. It has become difficult to photograph her except when she is sleeping because she is very active and playful!!! We would suggest a home with another dog. And get ready for a permanent shadow if you are interested in adopting. She is always around looking for tummy scratches. She is a bit cautious of her toys and treats when other dogs approach (fosters have made great strides) but she came from a hoarding home with little outside interaction, one woman and at least 10 other dogs.
"She has even been known to help with the laundry!! She comes when we call her name. She gives kisses. At night she sleeps in the bed until it gets too crowded then she moves to her doggie bed on the floor. She is fully house trained. We are working on sit and stay but she gets a little distracted with the 3 other Lil bits running around. She is small and sweet and lovable. She can be wary of strangers at first but with treats and time she warms up, it is the chihuahua in her. She is getting exposure to new things and new people on neighborhood walkabouts. Still a work in progress but she will make a great addition once she finds her furever home." Patience and Tim
Though she likes kids those too young may be too much for her to process early on.
