My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little sweetie is White Sox, a 9 or 10 week old pup who weighs just over 10 pounds. She looks like a small Lab mix, but with a big Lab personality!

White Sox and her 5 siblings came to Chicago hoping to witness baseball history--and find their forever homes. (Their mom left and never came back, so the pups were taken to a rescue person.) Although they look like lab pups, we don't know for sure their breed or their exact age, so only apply if you are willing to take pot-luck in terms of what breed and size she ultimately grows into!

Her foster mom tells us: "White Sox is ready to move on to her forever home! She is friendly, well socialized and gets along well with my 2 dogs and my 3 kids, ages 11- 14. She could not be sweeter or gentler with my kids, and she plays constantly with my big black lab and my small border collie. White Sox is just like a lab when it comes to training: very smart and fast to learn! She is very close to being potty trained. She sleeps in the puppy pen with her brother Cubbie, and makes it all night without any accidents. Every time we open up the pen, she runs straight outside and does her business. She is cuddly and sweet, but she also likes to play a lot. She would love a home with another dog and kids to play with, or both!"

Because she is so young, White Sox will need someone home at least part of the day to keep her on a potty schedule and keep her socialized. Puppy obedience school is also a requirement for adoption.

White Sox's adoption fee of $375 includes: vet exam, distemper combo vaccination, bordetella vaccination, heart worm preventative, flea/tick preventative, routine deworming, microchip and spay.
