Meet Branda!
Branda and her sister Becky were rescued from a remote mountain area. The area has only a few households, with very limited resources for the stray dogs. When the rescuer found these young puppies, they were scavenging through the garbage for food. The rescuer knew it’s urgent to take them off the streets and find them a safe boarding place. Branda and Becky had a complete checkup and treatment by the vet. Both of them are placed with a foster family. The foster mom gives them much love and attention.

Branda is healthy, playful and happy under the loving care in her foster home. She is ready for adoption. Please give Branda a loving home and a chance to live a happy dog life with you and your family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Branda, a Castro Valley Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Castro Valley, or seeking a Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy from a breeder in Castro Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Castro Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Castro Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Castro Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
