Fiona's Story...

Fiona is about 8-9 years old but acts younger! She likes to play and be a total goofball, but she's not all that in to toys either. She is 33 lbs, and while we think she could have some Golden in her, we're not totally sure of her unique mix! We do know that she's very smart, loving, and house trained and crate trained perfectly! She walks well on a leash, loves car rides, and is totally people oriented. She seems to ignore cats, and seems to be selective with dogs. She can be a bit of a resource guarder with other dogs over food items - so she would be a great only dog. Adoption Fee $100

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fiona, a Sharon Center Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Sharon Center, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Sharon Center.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sharon Center already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sharon Center breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sharon Center paves the way for another one to be saved.
