Meet Scratchy and Mrs Kitty! Around 5 years old, these two girls are looking for forever homes. They were taken in as strays during the cold winter and are now ready to move on to a permanent home. These sweet ladies are really good cats who enjoy each other and are litter box trained and spayed. Based on their house manners, It seems that they have lived in a house previously to being found. They do like to lounge on the couch but don't jump on counters. It would be nice if they could stay together if possible. Please contact Lynn at 216-741-5849 if you would be interested in adding these girls to your family and giving them a happy ending!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scratchy & Mrs Kitty, a North Olmsted American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in North Olmsted, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in North Olmsted.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Olmsted already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Olmsted breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Olmsted paves the way for another one to be saved.
