My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bert is a 4 year old Dachshund x Chihuahua boy living in his wonderful foster home in Texas.

Bert is leash trained and loves to go on walks and is loving and playful. Bert knows his name well and just loves to go for car rides! Bert is a big big smugglers and loves to sleep in the big bed under the covers.

Bert is crate trained. He is house trained but like all dachshunds he will need to be confident in his environment to have good potty habits. All rescue dogs go thru a period of adjustment so understanding and patience is important.

This little ball of fun would make anyone a fantastic companion Bert is extremely intelligent and very willing to learn even more than he has now. He loves to play games and and thrives with attention!

Bert gets along well with everyone! He excellent with children of all ages, other dogs and kitties too! This happy boy is waiting for you! Apply to adopt him and find the love your life!
