My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Angel, a 9 or 10 week old pup who weighs about 13 pounds. She looks like a small yellow lab mix, with that sweet, lab personality and also typical lab energy!

Angel and her 5 siblings Cubbie, White Sox, Dodger and Yankee, came to Chicago hoping to witness baseball history--and find their forever homes. (Their mom left and never came back, so the pups were placed for rescue.) Although they look like lab pups, we don't know their breed or their exact age, so only apply if you are willing to take pot-luck in terms of what breed and size she ultimately grows into!

Her foster mom tells us: "Angel is an active puppy who is the life of the party! She is as smart as she is cute, with a very out-going, playful personality. She loves playing with other dogs--that is her first priority. After a good romp in the back yard with my golden retriever or her brother Dodger, she will come running over for a short snuggle in my lap; then she's off again to play. She needs a home with another playful, or very tolerant, dog. Angel is used to sleeping in a crate at night, and makes it most nights without an accident. She knows to do her business outside and is well on the way to being house trained. Like any teething puppy she likes to chew on things. She might not be an angel at all times, but she would be a great dog for an active family!"

Because she is so young, Angel will need a family with someone home some or all of the day to keep her on a potty schedule, and make sure she gets lots of exercise and attention. Puppy obedience school is also a requirement for adoption.

Angel's adoption fee of $395 includes: vet exam, distemper combo vaccination, bordetella vaccination, heart worm preventative, flea/tick preventative, routine deworming, microchip and spay.
