Alexander and Benjamin were born approximately July 5, 2016.

Zander and Benjy are very cute tuxedo boys, full of energy and curiosity. They love to chase and play with each other, rolling over, skidding around corners or checking for anything that might move that could be hiding under furniture, in a bag or in a box.

Both boys are quite active, but also love to curl up with their people when they are ready for a break or nap. They are quite social and risk takers. If not adopted together, each would need a playmate that will appreciate and want to participate in their antics.

Adoption events are held at the Fair Oaks Petco (Madison at Hazel) on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alexander, a North Highlands Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in North Highlands, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in North Highlands.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Highlands already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Highlands breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Highlands paves the way for another one to be saved.
