Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hayden is part of a feral litter that was trapped. They are Husky/Border Collie mixes. We are estimating him to be about 10 weeks old and he will be getting his first puppy shot this week. He is one of the two smallest puppies in the litter and is still very scared of people, as well as his larger siblings. He and Hope, the other small one, stay together most of the time. We are sure that Hayden will come around and will discover how great it is to be scratched and held. He will not be available to go to an adoptive home until we are sure that he is parasite free and that he will do well without his siblings. Because we will not adopt an animal that is not spay/neutered and we feel it is best to wait until the puppies are about 6 months of age, we have a Foster to Adopt Contract for our puppies. Our program fee for puppies is $75 with a $50, refundable, spay/neuter deposit. When they are old enough and you have provided us with proof of spay/neuter and rabies vaccination, we will execute the adoption portion of the contract and refund your deposit. We are happy to answer any questions you may have about this process. So far, it is working very well.
