Louie, Louie we surely love you ! We are still trying to figure out why such a nice dog wound up at Yonkers Animal Shelter.. Louie showed up as a stray one day, wagging his tail and smiling at everyone he met...We were pretty sure his owner was on his way since Louie was neutered, well fed, had a healthy looking coat, appeared to be house trained and was very comfortable around people...all the signs of a family dog...Guess we will never know what Louie's past was since no on came forward, but we know his future will be bright...What more could you want in a loyal companion ? His amazing ears don't hurt either ! Is he not one of the cutest dogs ever ! At 2.5 to 3 yrs old, Louis is about 60 lbs...He is dominant, but definitely dog friendly...He loves to play, with or without a human partner...He's very athletic and would make a great agility dog if someone gave him a chance.. He needs a home, not a kennel...firstname.lastname@example.org or 201-981-3215 if you can help Please contact Leslie, our volunteer adoption coordinator, at 201- 981-3215 or email her at Lesliem147@gmail.com or come visit us at the shelter.
