Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sweetness is a Boxer mix who weighs 46 pounds and is about 2 years old. Sweetness fits her name. She has a sweet disposition and likes to play with both the large and small dogs in her foster home. She loves to be petted and to hang with her people. Sweetness also loves to go for car rides, and is learning to walk well on leash. She is doing well with learning basic commands but training will need to continue in her new home. She has medium energy so would enjoy getting out to dog parks,
walking, hiking, etc. but can also be a good companion when it comes time to just relax.
Sweetness has not been exposed to children so she would do well in an adult only home or a family with children age 8 and up.
(An adoption donation of $300 is required.) If you are interested in adopting this dog, please email CHEW Dog Rescue at pawsontherun@gmail.com and ask for the adoption application form. If you have previously submitted an application form, there is no need to re-apply. Just let us know you're interested in this dog. We do our best to match families and dogs so everyone is pleased and the placement is permanent. We reserve the right to refuse an applicant if the home situation is incompatible with the needs of the rescue dog. Rescue is about doing our best for the dog. We do home and reference checks. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and are up to date with current vaccinations, before being placed in their forever homes.
