Maggic's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Maggic's Story...
Maggic is a super sweetheart. He is a very calm boy who is gentle and is happy just laying by your feet. He is a low rider with short legs and a longer body. The first picture is Maggic on the the left with his foster sister. Maggic is fine with other dogs but should not go to a home with cats since he is a bit too interested in them. Maggic is deaf but this doesn't bother him at all. He is in a foster home and doing great. He is house trained and well behaved. If you are looking for a sweet, calm dog then meet Maggic. An application is required and can be filled out at www.chowsplus.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggic, a Sacramento Chow Chow/Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chow Chow/Golden Retriever for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Chow Chow/Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chow Chow/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Chow Chow/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
