Harry's Story...
Harry escaped death by one minute of being killed at Miami Dade animal Services kill shelter
I'm sure you remember that video it was gut-wrenching, every second of it. He was covered in hundreds of ticks, he was anemic, he was emaciated, pure neglect and abuse. If you also remember we shared a video of taking Harry to which we thought was his forever home. Again let down by Humanity. Harry is now back with us in Foster and our foster is moving out of state. Harry is a senior and he does have a tumor on his lung. We do not know how much time Harry has nor do we know how much time we each have. Everyday is a gift. He is healthy he is eating he is drinking he is active. He is playful and he is happy. What Harry is missing is a true place to call home where he will be loved and adored as he should have been his entire life. We are reaching out to all of you our supporters our friends our family and ask you to share this post in hopes we can find an angel that will commit to loving Harry for his remaining days. He is a Shih Tzu and nothing but love. He is neutered and up-to-date on all vaccines and on heartworm preventative along with being microchipped. Please if you can offer Harry a loving home please contact us at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harry, a Ft. Lauderdale Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Ft. Lauderdale, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Ft. Lauderdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ft. Lauderdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ft. Lauderdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ft. Lauderdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
