Sugar's Story...
Sugar is a 3 year old female Wirehaired Terrier mix. She weighs approximately 17 pounds. She is UTD on her vaccinations and is spayed. Sugar is currently in foster care and we will have an update soon!

UPDATE:
Sugar is a very sweet little 3-year-old female Wirehaired Terrier mix. She loves attention! Nothing makes Sugar happier than to lay there and get a rub down, or to simply sit on your lap. She'll get dreamy-eyed if you play with that little tuft on her head. She is very friendly with people and children. Loves to play with toys and have lots of treats. Enjoys getting a bath too. This cuddly girl is 17 pounds, spayed, and UTD on her vaccinations. Sugar tolerates other dogs, but seems to prefer the larger ones to those her own size. She'd be great as a single pet. We are working on housebreaking, but she is doing well with that. Her favorite thing is to sleep in the bed with you!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sugar, a Avon Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Avon, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Avon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Avon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Avon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Avon paves the way for another one to be saved.
