Carlie Simon's Story...
Meet Carlie Simon!
Carlie Simon is a tan with a black mask female, Chihuahua mix. Her vet birthday guess is 8/19/09 and she weighs 8.10 pounds. Carlie visited the vet clinic 10/19/09 to receive her first set of puppy shots and fecal tested positive for hookworms and coccidia. Medicine was given to treat the worms and coccidia. Carlie spent the night at the vet clinic 10/20/09 to have her left torn ear repaired. 10/27/09 Carlie visited the vet clinic to have her stitches removed from her left ear. Carlie started Revoultion for heartworm prevention and Frontline for flea control. She is 100% healthy and ready for adoption. Pictures taken 11/24/09.
Carlie was rescue from the streets of Texarkana Texas. Greg R. of Texarkana Texas found Carlie and was unable to find her owner. Greg R is not your typical male human. Greg is one who will always help an animal. Together we have placed a handful of souls. Thank you Greg R! Carlie was taken into rescue site unseen 10/19/09.
Carlie is a very friendly pup. She is playful and quick on her feet. During her ear repair she had to wear a lamp shade on her head. This prevented any damage to occur while the ear healed. The lamp shade was a site to see. Carlie managed well only bumping into a few things. Carlie adjusts well to new things. She loves to kiss and make new friends. Carlie is learning potty training and will learn leash training soon.
Special thank you to Dr. Dean Burns at Westridge Animal Hospital in Texarkana, Texas. Dr Burns is always ready to help these homeless souls I come across. One day it is a torn ear, next day parvo, exposure. Whatever is needed, Dr. Burns is always there! God bless you Dr. Burns from the homeless animals and JTR!

Home visits are required unless the distance is too far for JTR or JTR’s contacts. Pictures of the home and common ground are required.
