Jack's Story...

Jack is a male black with a little white on his chest Labrador Retriever mix. His birthday is 12/26/2013 and he weighs 18 pounds. Jack has received 2 set of puppy vaccines and wormed several times. He is ready for adoption. Jack's mother Molly was rescued as a stray five days prior to the birth of the pups. Jack is very playful and loving just like his siblings. All are very social, know walking on a leash and learn to walk up stairs. They love affections from all ages of humans. A fenced area or large farm to run and play would be best. Adoption fee is $75.

A spay/neuter contract is required at adoption. The spay/neuter contract requires the adopter to have the puppy spayed/neutered before 6 months of age at the adopters expense.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack, a Texarkana Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Texarkana, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Texarkana.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Texarkana already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Texarkana breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Texarkana paves the way for another one to be saved.
