A few months back, Charlie came into our lives. Charlie is the dog that was found in a Winco dumpster here in Salem. Not only did someone put Charlie in a dumpster, they put him in a plastic garbage as well! The word out and soon the volunteers from Lost and Found Pets were there to assist. They found a foster mom for Charlie who fattened him up a little, gave him love and soon Charlie was sleeping on her pillow each night.
He came to our house to be socialized with our pack of little pups. At first he was withdrawn and nervous but soon he was learning to play with the other pups and joining in howling, when they got excited. He jumps on my husbands lap and kisses him on the face whenever he sits down. He does not have a preference to a male or female owner. He does great with other dogs, he would probably be best in a home with multiple pets.
Charlie is happy, well adjusted and loves to snuggle. He is completely potty trained. He is happiest when he is with his person curled up on the couch. He is UTD, neutered and just had a dental and around 3 years old.
If you are interested in Meeting Charlie, please fill out our online application at: www.secondchancesalem.org His adoption fee is: $200.
