My story

Hey folks, I'm Birdie! I'm a 5 year old spayed female Chihuahua mix. I'm super happy, energetic, and very friendly. I also happen to be downright adorable! You'll rarely see me without a big grin on my face. What can I say? I have a zest for life!

Since I was brought to the shelter as a stray, not much is known about my past. All I know is that I spent a little over a week in that scary place before CageFree rescued me and brought me to their facility. Now they've made it their mission to find me the perfect forever home. Are you the one for me?

Weighing in at a petite 9 pounds, I'm the perfect compact size for traveling and apartment living. I don't need a lot of exercise; just a couple of walks per day and some playtime would suffice. The playtime is a must, as I'm a gal that likes to have fun! So what are you waiting for?
