My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

CONGRATULATIONS RANGER ON YOUR PENDING ADOPTION!!!!

This very handsome young boy is Ranger!  Ranger is looking for that "just perfect" home for life!  He is only a baby, but already you can see his adult and grown up personality shining through. Ranger will be a big boy, he is very smart - as are all German Shepherds :) - and he will continually test his people to make sure that they are always on the ball!  Right now he is a goofy, mouthy, barky and chewy puppy - and still not quite house trained - but working on it. This should not take long, but it does take patience.

He is learning new skills every day!  Ranger will always be an active boy and he is going to need a family that is willing to take the time to bring this special boy to his full potential.  He will excel at anything competitive - agility, advanced obedience, etc.  He is confident, well balanced and gets along wonderfully with other dogs.  He is NOT good with cats, but loves all humans equally :).

Please do your research when considering adopting a puppy.  Successfully raising a puppy is not for the faint of heart - it is a considerable amount of work that requires lots of love and more patience than you ever thought you would ever need, and it takes time!  Puppies are cute, have razor sharp teeth and chew on everything; and just  like a human baby, they require a commitment that must last a lifetime!

Ranger will ONLY be adopted to a home with prior German Shepherd experience. He has been evaluated as a medium drive dog with high prey drive ( cats/squirrels etc)

*When applying to adopt one of our puppies, please also remember this:    Up to the age of 8 months puppies cannot be left alone for a standard work day.       Arrangements will have to be in place for 4-5 hour intervals until the pups are at least 8 months old. Having someone with them every 4-5 hours until they are older greatly facilitates the housebreaking process.

Please contact us for more information.

If you are not yet approved to adopt from All Shepherd Rescue, please fill out our application online at www.allshepherdrescue.com.  Our adoption fee is $250.00
