Scooby's Story...
Meet Mr. Scooby! This gentle guy is sweet and loyal to his family. He loves to snuggle on the couch and is not overly hyper. He walks well with his harness and does not mind his crate one bit. He is not a barker but if something is wrong he will alert you. He is fully housetrained, potty trained, crate trained and is a gentle bigger dog. He weighs about 90lbs and is about 6 years old. He is not good with cats in his home. He is good with most dogs but should be the only dog in the home. He LOVES children and would also be great with elderly people because of his temperament. He is microchipped, neutured, heartworm negative, and up to date on shots. His adoption donation is $75 and to meet him apply at www.paradise4petsrescue.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scooby, a Windermere Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer for sale in Windermere, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer dog from a breeder in Windermere.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Windermere already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Windermere breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Windermere paves the way for another one to be saved.
