**BASIC INQUIRIES ASKING QUESTIONS THAT ARE PROVIDED WILL NOT BE ANSWERED. ** WE ARE ALL VOLUNTEERS WHO HAVE EXISTING PETS/ FAMILY/ PAYING JOBS. OUR TIME IS IN SHORT SUPPLY AND WE APPRECIATE YOUR UNDERSTANDING
WE HOPE THAT THIS WILL ENSURE WE ARE RECEIVING QUERIES AND APPLICATIONS FROM TRULY SINCERE AND COMMITTED APPLICANTS WHICH WILL PREVENT VALUABLE TIME FROM BEING WASTED- THAT IN TURN SHOULD PREVENT OTHER DOGS FROM BEING EUTHANIZED IN POUNDS WHILE WAITING TO COME IN TO OUR CARE - AS CAN HAPPEN WHEN APPLICANTS DELAY/OR STALL/OR BACK OUT OF ATTENDING SET VIEWINGS OR ASK FOR EXCEPTIONS AND ARE UN-WILLING TO COMPLY TO THE PROCESS.

WHY IS THIS DOG IN NEED??- This boy was picked up as a stray. his hold time is up and he will be coming into rescue
WHERE IS THIS DOG NOW ?- He is currently at vet/ boarding.. but will be going into foster shortly. We will learn more as he settles
**ALL ABOUT HOGAN **
REQUIREMENTS:
-fenced yard
-children 6 yrs and older only- d/t his lack of training and can hurt a small child. We have no info on how he is with young children in a general home setting .
- a committed active owner to invest time into positive based training classes.
He is a fun loving pound pup suspected to be 1 year old
We believe he is predominantly boxer
He has been clean in the kennel run at vets
He knows to sit
He takes treats nicely
Pound info:
boxer mix, roughly 1 year old. He came in as a stay and his hold time us up.. That is up now, he is very well washroom trained, only goes outside.
he us young, has alot of energy, Is very hyper, jumps up a lot,
does try and grab the leash out of your hand. A bit mouthy but I think more
playful and just having missed out on training.
Meet/ Greet with volunteer
"Not great pictures. Dog was too hyper. He's a lovely dog. Very jumpy and
play bites . Beautiful boy though. Very healthy looking. Just needs some
exercise and training. Would knock over small children. Knows sit"
Pound says he is clean in his run.
More to come as we learn / confirm this dogs needs.

The adoption fee does NOT cover the cost of vetting or supplies for these animals - If you cannot afford the adoption fee
(that is a fraction of actual REDUCED VETTING expenses incurred) then you should reconsider adopting.
These animals deserve forever homes, good food, regular vet care, and emergency care as needed.
Pets should never be euthanized by their owners simply based on financial consideration when something goes wrong.

Applications

It can be completed, saved and emailed back to the rescue at
petrescue@hurontel.on.ca .
1. We require a fully filled app to be considered as a possible home
2. Only the approved app will be premitted a viewing with the pet ** in the foster home **
3. ALL family members MUST meet the dog ** in the foser home** .
4. Any exsisting pets MUST attend the meet/ greet with the dog ** at the foster home ** .
5. A home visit must be completed as part of the adoption process after the inital viewing by a rescue representative.
This is not a replacement of the meet/ greet at the Foster home.
6. We do not adopt outside of ONTARIO .
7. We do not deliver dogs. If and once the adoption process is approved and complete the dog must be picked up at the
foster home
