Cody's Story...
Meet Cody. He is a cocker spaniel lab mix who is about 4 years old. He and his brother were surrendered due to a divorce. Cody has a coat like a cocker spaniel and will require grooming like a cocker spaniel. He is great with kids and other dogs. The brothers do not need to stay together. Cody is a crate trained, house trained, and very friendly. He would make a great family dog. He was very matted when he came in, so please look past his freshly shaved coat. Please email bonnerrescueks@gmail.com or call 913-449-7328 to leave your name, phone number and email address for an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cody, a Bonner Springs Cocker Spaniel/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel/Labrador Retriever for sale in Bonner Springs, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Bonner Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bonner Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bonner Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bonner Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
