Obi is one cute and unique little guy! He came to us from a high volume shelter where he was surrendered by his owner for simply being too much puppy! Obi is definitely all terrier and is a type of dog that is known for their endless amounts of energy. He’s still a puppy at 1 year of age and weighs 15 pounds. He has a wirey texture coat and is a stunning brindle and white color. Obi has been in foster care with multiple resident dogs and cats and doing quite well. He’s learning the routine, but will need a leader of an owner to keep him in line.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Obu, a Barrington Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Barrington, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Barrington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Barrington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Barrington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Barrington paves the way for another one to be saved.
