Shorty Cake's Story...
Oh MY Goodness! This little girl is a character! She has the body of a corgi, but we are only guessing, and all the markings of a Blue Heeler. AND, she likes to be the boss. We are thinking Shorty Cake is only around 5 months of age. She still has her baby teeth, and she loves to play with toys and with our grand kids. Shorty Cake is new to the rescue, and we haven't gotten her photos taken yet, but you will see just how adorable she is soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shorty Cake, a Walthill Australian Cattle Dog/Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Corgi for sale in Walthill, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Corgi dog from a breeder in Walthill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Walthill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Walthill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Corgi breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Walthill paves the way for another one to be saved.
