Zazzy (Purrty Girl's Kitten)'s Story...
**ADOPTION PENDING** ... "Zazzy" is a handsome male kitten who was surrendered by his owner on May 19, 2016 along with his mother (Purrty Girl) and his siblings (Lightning, Paris, and Piper). A little foster brother (Peyton) joined the family the following day. The kittens were 6-weeks old at that time. "Zazzy" has a gorgeous pale gray tabby short smooth coat with white markings on his chest and paws, a long charcoal tail, and a daring kitten face with white stripe on his nose/muzzle. He is a happy young man who loves to get into playful mischief with his siblings (and he dearly loves his momma). "Zazzy" was given vaccinations and wormer on May 19, 2016. He and his siblings are weaned and ready to find homes of their own as soon as they are spayed/neutered. His mother (Purrty Girl) was combo tested on May 21, 2015 and is negative for feline leukemia, FIV, and heartworm... which is also great news for the kittens :) "Zazzy and his family went home with one of our fantastic foster mothers on June 9, 2016. They have been enjoying the hospitality of a real home for several months and are very socialized young boys and girls. "Zazzy" was neutered on August 25, 2016 and was also given rabies vaccine.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zazzy (Purrty Girl's Kitten), a Marietta Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
