Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi!!! My name is Baby and I'm a 20 yr old Moluccan Cockatoo. I will tell you that I'm a "pretty, pretty girl" but no one knows if my DNA would agree.
I am a certified cuddle bug and will step up for almost anyone who offers to pet me. I love to sit on your lap, snuggle or preen your hair for hours on end.
I've lived with other parrots and dogs but am really indifferent to their presence. I've not spent much time around kids so not sure how I feel about them.
I'm not known to be a biter but I do have a powerful beak that must be respected. My favorite activity is chewing on wood so never leave me unsupervised around furniture or even wooden doors!

I am not an excessive screamer but I do call to my flock every morning and evening and occasionally call for my people during the day. My voice would not likely be appreciated in an apartment, condo or densely populated area. I make a variety of other noises such as clicks and I whistle as well.
I eat a variety of fresh fruits and veggies but I'm not so sure about the pellets my foster mom keeps putting in my bowl.
My kind can live to be more than 90 yrs old so I would be a lifelong commitment, but if you have patient ears and a big heart I would make a great companion. I hope you'll come to meet me soon.

An avian veterinarian has properly vetted all birds before they are placed up for adoption. Adoption fees include the bird's cage IF the bird has a cage - most do, but please ask!
