Daisy Mae

If you’re looking for the perfect relaxation partner, look no further! Daisy Mae loves sleeping 23.5 hours per day and being petted vigorously. She is the perfect companion for all types of pet-owners—she is content to be alone and relaxing by herself, but she also loves sitting with her human family and getting lots of love and affection.

Daisy Mae was a house cat who’s family moved and decided to leave her behind outside, unspayed and with nowhere to go. She had a couple litters of kittens, many who were killed by neighborhood dogs and ran over by cars, before a kind person in the neighborhood called me and asked if I could take her and her newest litter of kittens in. Now that all of her kittens have found their forever homes, Daisy Mae is ready for hers! Daisy Mae is estimated at 2-3 years old.

Daisy is hesitant at first with new places and animals, but she is always a sweetheart to people, new or familiar. When she first came to her foster home with five other cats and five dogs, she hid for about a week, and then decided to venture out and become comfortable with other animals. She is not playful with other animals, she prefers cuddling with the dogs and the other cats, and is not an “Alpha” personality. She is very quiet and almost never meows, and she loves being picked up and loved on. So basically, she’s the perfect cat! J

If you are interested in meeting Daisy Mae, please call or text 314-570-1886. She is spayed and up-to-date on all her shots. A home visit, vet reference, personal reference, and adoption fee of $40 will be required for serious potential adopters.

About Frisky Whiskers Network, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

Frisky Whiskers Network, Inc. was founded in 2006. We are an all-volunteer, nonprofit cat rescue operating in the St. Louis, Missouri metropolitan area. We believe that every cat deserves a chance to have their own human family to know the love and security of a forever home...

Come Meet Our Pets...

We hold adoption events every weekend from 1-5 pm Saturday and 1-3 pm on Sundays at the Petco store in Kirkwood, Missouri. We also have a few cats who reside at the Petco Kirkwood during the week. (During holidays adoptions are done by appointment only)

To adopt a cat from Frisky Whiskers or to inquire about a particular cat, visit us at an adoption event, email us at, or call us at (636) 343-7106 or TEXT to:(314) 477-9038 & (314)780-3325.

Our Adoption Process...

We ask people fill out an adoption application, and we interview applicants. Our goal is to ensure a good fit between cat and humans. Once we have reviewed the application, we require you to complete an adoption contract.

We do not discriminate against anyone for reasons of race, religion, politics, gender, or sexual orientation, but we reserve the right to refuse an adoption based on information we gain during the application process. We try very hard to match our cats' needs and requirements with applicants' lifestyles and circumstances. Our goal is to make every adoption a happy and lasting one!

Our adoption fees cover vet care for emergencies and medical issues in addition to routine care. Before adoption, all animals receive the following care: spay/neuter, vaccinations for FVCRP & rabies, test for felv/fiv, microchip, and treatment for fleas/parasites.

Adoption fees are as follows: 1) senior cats $95, 2) cats 1-7 $125, and 3) under one year $150. We do not intend to imply that senior cats are less valuable; rather, this fee schedule reflects the fact that senior cats tend to come to us already spayed and neutered.
