My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Abraham was brought in as a stray when he showed up at a farm. He was in really rough shape when the farmer brought him in. We're not sure if it was because he was fending for himself for quite a while or he had been severely neglected. The vet says Abraham is over 10 years old but it is impossible to get an exact age. His toenails looked like they had never been trimmed and were way overgrown, he had bare scabby patches on his back and looked really rough.

He is heartworm negative (YEAH!) and the bare scabby patches were caused by a flea allergy. His nails have been trimmed, the scabs are gone and his skin is looking much better. He is on glucosamine for his joints and he is walking better everyday. Abraham loves attention and food. He is a really sweet boy who deserves a loving home for whatever time he has left. We would consider placing Abraham in a forever foster where we will provide for his medical care and food for the rest of his life.
