Oreo's Story...
Oreo! Expert snuggler, master fetcher, and best friend. This 2 year old, 60 pound gal is an angel with everyone and always happy to make new friends! She's a super snuggler! She loves to play fetch with her favorite soft toy. She would do best in a family that has lots of attention to give her love and exercise. She gets along very well with other dogs and children! Oreo enjoys the outside. She loves to run in the grass and go on long walks. She adores being pet, receiving attention, and very much loves treats!

She is described as an energetic girl at the park and on her walks but at home, she loves sitting with her human and watching TV. She walks well on a leash and is not a barker! Oreo knows the commands: sit and come.

Oreo is a loyal girl that loves to play and is very sweet. She will do great with any family and very much enjoys being part of her pack!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oreo, a New York Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in New York, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
