Lima Bean's Story...
Lima Bean has been described as a total love muffin with a great personality! She is 1 year old and 30 lbs. She is good with other dogs and will be moving to doggie daycare on 10/5. She has been given full vet care after we took her from a dog pound. We are so glad we saved this gem of a girl. Adoption fee 150.00 - UPDATE 11/15: Lima Bean has been going thru some obedience training and doing well overall. She is a mischievous girl who will get into trouble if she is bored or you allow her too much freedom but she is learning all about good house manners and appropriate behavior. A fenced in yard and doggie playmate would be best for this girl.
Plus she is cute as a button!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lima Bean, a Avon Coonhound/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Coonhound/Beagle for sale in Avon, or seeking a Coonhound/Beagle dog from a breeder in Avon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Avon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Avon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Coonhound/Beagle breeders who help with Coonhound/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Avon paves the way for another one to be saved.
