Bobbie Jo's Story...
Hi, I am a Silky Terrier named Bobbie Jo. I was born on 9/1/10. I am very sweet around women but am very afraid of men. I am not aggressive at all. I would do best in a quiet home with a mature woman.

Once I learn to trust a person I will jump in their lap and I also love to snuggle. I also love my spa days at the groomer.

I am learning to walk on a leash, but it will take some time because I am a little timid. I am housebroken and crate trained. I am looking for caring loving and quiet home

I get along with the other dogs in my foster home.

If you would like to adopt me, head on over to www.atailtotell.com and fill out an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bobbie Jo, a South Amboy Silky Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Silky Terrier for sale in South Amboy, or seeking a Silky Terrier dog from a breeder in South Amboy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in South Amboy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a South Amboy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Silky Terrier breeders who help with Silky Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in South Amboy paves the way for another one to be saved.
