Wendy's Story...
Wendy is a lab/boxer/pitt mix about 5 months old. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines and weighs about 25lbs. She will most likely be a big girl when fully grown. She is currently in a foster home with her brother Cpt Hook. She is doing great with house training. She is very loving, smart, and her favorite place to nap is next to you with her head on your lap. She isn't shy at all. She likes being the center of attention. Plays great with other dogs and loves people. She is still young, so she will need some training. I had her 3 other siblings and they were absolutely awesome puppies and super sweet & smart.. Applications are being accepted online at www.nevielandrescue.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wendy, a Harleysville Labrador Retriever/Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Boxer for sale in Harleysville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Boxer puppy from a breeder in Harleysville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harleysville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harleysville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Boxer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harleysville paves the way for another one to be saved.
