Boo Boo's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Boo Boo's Story...
This cute baby was found running on the side of a busy highway. He is very playful and loves to play with the other dog at the rescue who is the same size as he is. We are working on housebreaking and cratetraining. He is very sweet and loves attention. He learned to sit in about 5 minutes so he's pretty smart too! Please email us for more information or visit our website to fill out an application to adopt him.
UPDATE 10/7/2008: Boo Boo is a sweet little guy who needs to learn the same manners as any puppy would. He is a happy boy, loves to cuddle and is very playful. We are unsure of his breed, but whatever it is, he is very cute! He is housetrained, cratetrained and is learning to walk on a leash. Boo Boo likes dogs and cats, although will chase cats as a game outside. He is good with kids, too. He loves to play with the other dog his size here. I think he would prefer not to be in a household with a lot of giant breed dogs who overwhelm him!! Can you give that to him??

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boo Boo, a Ridgeville Canaan Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Canaan Dog for sale in Ridgeville, or seeking a Canaan Dog puppy from a breeder in Ridgeville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ridgeville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ridgeville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Canaan Dog breeders who help with Canaan Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ridgeville paves the way for another one to be saved.
