My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dash is a handsome 2 year old standard brindle boy looking for love! At 20 pounds he is a perfect boy living the good life in his Florida foster home while he waits for his forever family.

Dash is crate trained and housetrained. Like all dachshunds he will need to be confident in his environment to have good potty habits. All rescue dogs go thru a period of adjustment so understanding and patience is important. Beni asks to go outside to go potty.

Dash is leash trained and would love to go for walks with his forever family. He loves to sleep in a big bed and would really like a home where he could continue to do this. Dash will sleep in his own doggy bed in the day time.

Dash gets along well with other dogs and kitties too. He likes children who are 8 years of age and older. He loves to cuddle and follows his foster mom everywhere she goes.

Dash loves to eat….. FAST, so his foster mom has a special bowl for him that helps him eat a bit slower. This special bowl will go with him to his forever home. He enjoys playing with toys and will spin in a circle when he knows it is dinner time!

Dash is waiting for his special person to come and show him the love he deserves forever! Apply to adopt him today!
