Susie's Story...
Little Susie is as cute as a bug. She was rescued along a roadside when she was just two weeks old. She was a bottle-fed kitten and loves being with people. Her favorite thing to do is to climb into your lap and gently pat your face with her little paws. Right now she is growing by the day and looking forward to the day she goes home to her purr-fect furever family.  If you're interested in giving Susie a permanent, loving home, please complete our application.

The application is necessary to help us to help you through the adoption process and does not obligate you to adopt,
The adoption fee is $75. Barn cats also available: We also have kittens and cats better suited for the barn life that are available for a lower donation.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Susie, a Wilmore Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Wilmore, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Wilmore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wilmore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wilmore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wilmore paves the way for another one to be saved.
