Lance is a 1 year old (est.) 40lb lab mix with a beautiful white coat with touches of caramel. Lance is a well-behaved puppy. He’s house trained and crate trained. He doesn’t chew on things he shouldn’t. He sits, stays out of the kitchen and is learning to lie down. He’s also incredibly joyful – he loves you, and other dogs, and toys, and did I mention… you.

Lance loves to play with other dogs and gets along with all kinds. He plays fetch with a deer-like pounce and also enjoys taking his toys on walks, both inside and in the back yard. Walking on leash is a newer experience but Lance is up to the task and is learning to walk on leash with a little less gusto. He really loves his people and is quickly developing a fan club in his foster’s neighborhood. Lance is a smart boy who is motivated to learn new things in order to please you, or for a treat!

At the end of the day when he’s done exploring the world and playing with other dogs, Lance loves to cuddle up with you and keep you warm now that there’s a chill in the air. Lance would do well in a house with kids and other dogs and even a cat. For more information on how to adopt Lance ……….

Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue. Our Adoption Process...

Our Mission is to ensure the best fit for each individual dog and applicant. We will not make arrangements for you to meet any dogs outside of an adoption event until you have completed the adoption application. In addition, a dog will not be placed in your home before You Lucky Dog has conducted a thorough reference check and completed a home visit. Please understand that the adoption and home visit process is not designed to be frustrating and drawn out, but rather to guarantee the safety and happiness of the dogs. During the home check, we will make sure that each pet in that home has been neutered/spayed and is up to date on all of their shots. The home check will be completed by the foster for the dog that you are considering adopting when feasible. Our foster parents dedicate their time and money to loving and training these dogs, and we rely on their input when meeting with a potential adopter. If your application is approved and your home visit meets the requirements that we have established, you will be required to sign a contract in order to complete the adoption process. The adoption fee is $300. All dogs will be spayed or neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on all shots prior to adoptions.
