Facts about PIkachu
Meet Pikachu! Pika came in with his brothers Charmander and Evee, who are all 5 week old syrian baby boys. Each are sweet and shy, as most babies tend to be. Charmander and Evee have gorgeous satin/shiny coats to boot! If you think one of these adorable babies would make a great addition to your family, please fill out an adoption application on our website lovingspiritrescue.org!
Welcome to Loving Spirit Hamster Rescue! We are a small animal rescue located in Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs, while also assisting New Jersey and New York. Currently we exist only of gracious animal lovers who foster the mini munchkins until they are adopted, no matter how long that takes. Our hamsters come from kill shelters, abandoned animals at pet stores, and sometimes the public who can no longer keep their pets. Smaller animals are too often forgotten and dumped off to someone or someplace else- we specialize in socializing these animals in order to find their forever home. Most of our mini munchkins are hammies, but sometimes other critters find their way to us as well. We offer one on one time and socialization which means we only care for a few animals at a time. This means we are always looking for foster homes from other dedicated animal lovers who want to lend a helping hand. Our goal is to take the forgotten hamsters in when no one else wants them, give them love and socialization, and find them loving forever homes.
Come Meet Our Pets...
We are a network of foster homes who volunteer and take in homeless animals. Visiting a pet is by appointment only.
Our Adoption Process...
Adoption and foster requirements can be found in detail on our website- a fully completed foster or adoption application is required, in addition to personal references and a vet reference for your pet. An adoption contract is required at the time of adoption.
