Jennings is a male Poodle mix approximately 3 years old. He is a bigger boy, weighing a solid 18 pounds full grown. Jennings has been professionally groomed and currently has a very short, shaved haircut due to severe matting and neglect of his beautiful coat. Jennings has a gorgeous, soft, curly charcoal gray and white coat that is non-shedding. When his fur grows back it will be longer and truly beautiful. Jennings responds well to a gentle touch and lots of love and reassurance. He will try hard to please his people. He wants to be included as a family member and thrives on being around those he knows and loves. Outside he loves to go for walks and has a nice energetic trot to his step. He can go long distances and would be a wonderful companion for hikes or even light running. Jennings will look to his people for direction and is the kind of dog that will bond very closely and loyally with his trusted owners. Jennings doesn't appear to be super playful, but more of a homebody and couch potato. He loves attention, gentle stroking and love. All he needs is love and a dish of dog food to be happy. He will take treats carefully from your hand and waits his turn like a good boy. Jennings is good with other dogs but doesn't seem to need another dog friend in the home to feel secure. He is more focused on being with his people. Jennings is going to make loyal, affectionate pet and companion. He was rescued from a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where he was brought in stray. He is very healthy and ready for his new forever loving home today!
Jennings’ adoption donation is $425 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Jennings is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Lynda, Eric and Lisa and is ready for his forever home.
