Facts about Daisy

  • Breed: Labrador Retriever Mix
  • Color: Tan/Yellow/Fawn
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Female
Daisy is about a year old now and has the curious habit of hiding her poop inside her bed blanket--which is one of the reasons she was returned to the shelter. Right now we are working hard to help her with her potty training by making sure she is let out first thing in the morning, by taking her for long walks until she poops, and by praising her enthusiastically and giving her a treat whenever she relieves herself outside. If you’re willing to take on the challenge of helping Daisy overcome her shyness along with getting her on a Regular Elimination Routine, or if you want to wait until we do, let us know! In the meantime, you can meet this sweet and adorable punkin of a l’il dog by contacting Tri-County Animal Rescue Center on Facebook, by calling 814-918-2032, or by emailing: contactus@Tricounty-arc.org

We are committed to helping reduce pet overpopulation by providing access to low-cost spay/neuter programs and educating the public.

PLEASE NOTE: Volunteers who work with our dogs are not always at the rescue center during public hours. Please make an appointment if you wish to be able to take a dog out of its kennel. Thank you!

Our Adoption Process...

Our dog adoption fee is $125 and we require either a spay/neuter deposit of $50 or a certificate for spay/neuter at our vet may be purchased for $100 (unless already spayed/neutered which would change the adoption fee) if the option of the $50 deposit is chosen, it will be returned after proof of the surgery.
Our cat adoption fee is $75 for kittens and $35 for adult cats. The cat adoption fee includes spay or neuter costs. All cats and dogs receive a wellness check and are current on all vaccinations appropriate for their age.

The adoption process includes filling out an adoption application and providing references. Any current pets in the household must be spayed or neutered (unless not recommended by a veterinarian for health reasons) and current on vaccinations.
If living in a rental property, we must obtain permission from the landlord before an adoption can be approved. The dog or cat will be placed with the potential adopter that best matches the needs of the animal.
