Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sadie is a very sweet energetic girl. She loves her toys and to play fetch. She loves all dogs and gets upset (barks at them) if she can't play with them. She wants to chase the cats but is slowly figuring out that she needs to just watch them. She is a little to rough to go to a home with small kids, she loves them but plays to rough at this point. She is super smart and has started to learn sit and down. She is house trained and crate trained. She would be best suited for an active home (maybe someone wanting to do agility), with older children or no children, and another dog as a playmate for Sadie. She especially adores, and quickly attaches herself to, men! Sadie came to us with wounds on her neck. She is slowly healing thanks to the staff and attending vet at the animal shelter. Additional photos of her injury can be found in the comments on her album, and below is a write up from the shelter: "This sweet girl is around 7-8 months old. It appears that she has been tethered long term with a cable or wire type of material. Slowly, while her little body grew, the tether did not. Slowly, as the wire cut into the multiple areas of her neck, day by day, her tail was more than likely still wagging. She sat today, while I methodically scraped, picked, washed and shaved these areas where the “noose” had done its damage. The same noose that one day would have grown into her neck a little too much. She sat and was a good girl and never wavered and was forever forgiving on this, the first day of her healing. I promised her she would never be tied up again."
