Luca (rbf)'s Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Luca (rbf)'s Story...
Luca is a thirteen week old, eight pound Shih Tzu boy who equally loves cuddles and playtime. Luca has come so far from his infancy with little to no human interaction, now loving his people, and happily following along. Luca bonds quickly to his person, and family general. He is still learning that some people and places in this great, big world are pretty great, but he's picking up on that quickly! A best friend willing to step up to lead him into these situations, and not coddle him, will be best for Luca in the long run.

Luca will be best suited in a patient home dedicated to his continued socialization with new people, pets, and places. Luca has been socialized with children, and a home with older children will help him continue to flourish.

Luca is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luca (rbf), a Hagerstown Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Hagerstown, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Hagerstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hagerstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hagerstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hagerstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
