Nero's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Nero's Story...
We are proud to introduce Nero. Nero's foster mom is a local artist, and one afternoon while she was working on a sculpture at the park she noticed a skinny, big eared puppy looking for food. Nero was so happy to see a friendly face and didn't hesitate to crawl into her lap. She took him home and cleaned him up, and asked us for help vetting this sweet boy and networking him for adoption. Nero would be a wonderful addition to any family. He lives with two cats and a dog, and loves them both very much. He is submissive with other dogs, and shows his belly upon introductions, a trait that melts our hearts. Nero is house trained and can be trusted not to mess up the house while you are at work. He loves baths and showers and would probably make a fun companion for a family that like to go to the lake, dog parks, or dog beach. He is around 4 months old and currently 25 lbs. Nero's adoption fee is $250 and includes all of his annual vetting. He has a clean bill of health and is up to date on all heartworm/flea preventions, vaccines and deworming. He is also neutered and microchipped, all he needs now is a forever family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nero, a Memphis Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Memphis, or seeking a Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier puppy from a breeder in Memphis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Memphis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Memphis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Memphis paves the way for another one to be saved.
