Toby's Story...
Note from the foster home:
Little cutie Toby, AKA Stannis, is enjoying life in his foster home, but will soon be ready for his very own forever home! He is seriously one of the cutest pups ever! He is a Chihuahua Doxi mix, and about 10 weeks old. He has been with us for only a day, and already knows how to sit (with a hand signal), is puppy pad trained, knows his name, walks very well on a leash, and is learning potty training. He LOVES to play, snuggle, and just be around you! Fill out an application online at alsiptotherescue.org to start the process of making him yours!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Toby, a Frankfort Corgi/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi/Dachshund for sale in Frankfort, or seeking a Corgi/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Frankfort.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Frankfort already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Frankfort breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi/Dachshund breeders who help with Corgi/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Frankfort paves the way for another one to be saved.
