My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zeke – Male, 1.5 yrs, JRT mix. He is bit bigger than a JRT and is one of the more scared and shut down dogs we got from Louisiana. He will curl into the shape of your body when we take him out to potty. He has never know kindness or is missing his previous owners terribly. He has a skin issues we believe are from stress.
Louisiana shelters are bursting with dogs needing a second chance at life. ATTR wanted to do a small part in helping the devastating situation. We sent down some supplies and worked with some other rescues to transport rescues to safety with us and other organizations. We have 7 dogs and a mom with 5 puppies from Louisiana that a myriad of health issues. Almost all have skin issues and hair loss due to stress and infection. None are contagious. We have 5 dogs that are Heartworm + needing treatment and we have a young adult with Parvo. Bayou, the one with Parvo was immediately taken to a vet hospital where he is still being cared for 24 hours. We also have coccidia, worms, neuters/spays and vaccines to pay for on these 13 rescues. There is a possibility of ATTR getting one more mom and litter that were not yet released from the shelter at the time of transport. We are still waiting on word of their arrival time. We are asking for $6000 to help with all the medical cost and food for these poor souls. We are also looking foster homes for all these dogs needing heartworm treatment. If we get all of the donations needed we will be able to go back to help more in need.
