Sandy Adoption Pending's Story...
Sandy #5200 is a 5-year-old female, Rottweiler mix. This young lady is very sweet, playful and friendly. She is a little weary of people but once she knows they are nice she is very sweet and won’t leave your side. She is crate trained, and house broken and knows basic commands. She does need a little more leash training. She weighs 72 pounds and is full grown. She absolutely loves Kong’s filled with peanut butter. This lady is microchipped. Although she knows basic commands sit, lay, stay, and come, we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup; it stimulates the dog's mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption form, downloadable from our website: and return it per instructions. Email with questions. Stay tuned to our Facebook page for adoption event locations and updates:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sandy Adoption Pending, a Waldorf Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
