Shiloh's Story...
Born January 2016. Approx. 15 lbs. I am a nine month old beagle/chihuahua/pointer mix. Okay, let's face it, my heritage is like ketchup - you know the one, Heinz 57. But a dog of many pedigrees offers the ultimate in diversity and I am one handsome dude. Bet you thought my name, Shiloh, was tied to Westerns. Wrong! I was extremely shy when I was saved by the shelter, and the rest, as they say, is history. With lot's of encouragement (and treats) I have come out of my shell. I like to see who is checking us out and I hope one of them is looking for a small, active pup that loves to be held! Yup that's me! I'm a real lover once you get to know me and I want to be your full time companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shiloh, a San Leon Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in San Leon, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in San Leon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Leon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Leon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Leon paves the way for another one to be saved.
